We're seeking a
Senior Engineering Manager
to join our team in Bengaluru, India. We are looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical excellence, team leadership, and customer success.
In this pivotal role, you'll own the end-to-end technical delivery of complex partner and customer implementations while building and scaling high-performing engineering teams. What you will do in this role:
Lead Technical Delivery
- Own end-to-end delivery of partner/customer customizations from inception to production, driving architectural decisions and technical strategy for complex implementations while ensuring high-quality, timely solutions
Build & Scale Teams
- Hire, develop, and scale diverse engineering teams based on business needs, creating effective onboarding processes and building talent pipelines for sustainable growth
Drive Engineering Excellence
- Establish and maintain engineering standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices across the organization, creating libraries and templates that accelerate delivery and ensure consistency
Champion Innovation & Automation
- Lead AI-powered innovation and automation initiatives to improve delivery efficiency, reduce manual effort, and implement cutting-edge solutions to complex technical challenges
Implement Modern Practices
- Drive Agile/SAFe transformation and modern engineering practices including CI/CD and DevOps, fostering continuous improvement in development processes across all teams
Manage External Partnerships
- Coordinate and govern subcontractor/vendor delivery, establishing clear expectations and performance standards while building effective partnerships that extend team capabilities
Develop High-Performing Teams
- Lead performance management, provide mentorship and feedback, set clear goals, and create career development opportunities while maintaining high team morale and engagement
Ensure Quality Delivery
- Implement quality gates and review processes throughout the development lifecycle, establishing metrics to measure and continuously improve delivery outcomes that exceed customer expectations
What are we looking for?
Experience
- 12+ years in software engineering, product customization, and system integration with proven experience managing engineering teams and delivering complex technical projects; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required (Master's preferred)
Technical Expertise
- Strong foundation in modern software architecture, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, APIs, and web/mobile development; hands-on experience with DevOps practices and implementing agile methodologies at scale
Innovation & Automation
- Demonstrated capability driving efficiency through automation and AI/ML applications in software delivery; track record of implementing best practices and process improvements that deliver measurable results
Leadership Excellence
- Proven ability to hire, build, and scale high-performing engineering teams; strong people management, coaching, and talent development skills with experience leading through influence and building consensus
Communication & Collaboration
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, partners, and customers in fast-paced, dynamic environments
Strategic Execution
- Balance strategic thinking with attention to execution details; strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to navigate complex technical and organizational challenges
Delivery Focus
- Track record of delivering quality solutions on time and within budget while driving continuous innovation and efficiency improvements across the engineering organization
