You will be joining a pivotal team at Eightfold responsible for our flagship Talent Acquisition (TA) product line, a major revenue generator that has been integral to our success from the start. Our prestigious global clients rely on this product, and our engineering team is at the heart of all product development activities. Key outcomes for this team include:

What You'll Do:

Lead a team of high-caliber engineers, driving excellence in predictability, quality, and velocity.
> Mentor team members, fostering their growth and helping them achieve their career aspirations.
> Serve as a hands-on technical leader in architecture, design, and code reviews, contributing to the codebase when necessary.
> Develop end-to-end development strategies in close collaboration with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders.
> Generate and implement ideas for new and improved product experiences (e.g., new products, better UX, improved supportability) and lead the team in these initiatives.
> Attract and retain top engineering talent.
> Establish and maintain best-in-class engineering practices and processes.
What We Need:
>
A "war-time" leader with the courage to navigate uncertainty, the curiosity to discover new paths, and the hustle to guide the team to success.
> Preferably 10+ years of experience in the product industry, including at least 4+ years as an Engineering Manager.
> Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of frontend and backend development, distributed systems, APIs, and web services.
>
Ability to develop AI agents using GenAI infra technologies like langgraph/langchan, crewAI etc
> A willingness to innovate and manage the company's most revenue-generating product.
> A passionate engineer at heart who tackles tough problems head-on and is willing to wear multiple hats as needed.
> Experience with SaaS products and startup environments is a plus.
> Proven ability to build, scale, and maintain a high-performance engineering team.
