Department.Pay BandE4 - M2RoleEngineer - GRT (Homologation)A purpose driven role for youIn view of future lineup on Electric Vehicles (ACPA) and certain Internal cumbustion engines at ARAI, we intend to hire this role to not only lead discussions with test agency but also coordinate regulatr homologation activities to meet business timelines.A Day in the lifeDealing with external authorities bring lot of learning opportunity as well as pose challenges of building consensus. This profile will be tasked with this responsibility everyday. Additionally, this profile will be tasked to meticulous planning for upcoming project. So it will include Project management aspects as well.
~Perform regulatory tests as per Model line up plans.
~Get approvals as per model line-up plan
~Collate information available within various CoCs in HMCL.
~Gather specifications for TA & Homologation.
~Plan and execute the vehicle homologation projects in a time and cost bound manner
~Understand the type approval requirements
~Prepare plan for homologation.
~Prepare budget for testing & approvals or current & future norms
~Study the new requirement regulation. ~Prepare a status report on our products for future regulation requirements to find out the lead time / dev. Time requirements within HMCL
~Collate information in various regulations and members views / opinions.Academic Qualification & ExperienceB.Tech / DiplomaTechnical Skills/KnowledgeKey Responsibilities

• Certification of HMCL products - motorcycles and scooters for critical upcoming regulations
• Prepare Technical Comments on Future regulations like BS-V/BS-VI, Fuel efficiency norm, Evaporative emission, National and International.
• Preparing Technical support to matters related to Emission norms, Air quality index and Fuel economy norms
• Create IT system GRT-GRIPS for regulations and homologation compliance requirements document.
• Tracking on Emission regulation across the globe and all regulations for ASIAN countries. And to understand their future road map.
• Keeping track on IMMA documents and participating in its meeting
