JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a motivated and result-oriented Assistant Sales Manager / Senior
Sales Engineer to support our sales growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities,
supporting sales strategies, and achieving regional/territory sales targets. This role
involves close interaction with customers, preparation of techno-commercial offers, and
coordination with internal teams to deliver customer satisfaction.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Promote and sell company products and services to existing and prospective
customers.
? Identify potential leads, build sales pipeline, and follow up for business
development.
? Prepare and deliver technical presentations and techno-commercial proposals.
? Maintain strong customer relationships and regularly update the client database.
? Support participation in marketing events such as exhibitions, seminars, and
promotional campaigns.
? Collaborate with internal departments (Design, Production, Service, and
Marketing) for smooth order execution.
? Monitor competitors' activities, market trends, and customer needs.
? Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit control policies.
? Regular visits to assigned regions/territories to strengthen customer
relationships.
? Support senior management in sales forecasting, reporting, and strategic
initiatives.
? Carry out other assignments as directed by the management
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
? B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering (MBA will be added Advantage
).
? 4-7+ years of experience in sales / business development / technical marketing,
preferably in industrial products or engineering solutions.
? Strong technical understanding and ability to explain product applications to
customers.
? Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
? Ability to work independently as well as in a team, with a target-driven approach.
? Proficiency in preparing proposals, tenders, and technical documentation.
? Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work may require occasional
weekend and/or evening work.
