Commercial Proposals, Report Preparation , Project Planning, Resource Management



Support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of transport planning projects across the business.


o Opportunities to contribute to a range of projects, including business cases, transport assessments, strategic network studies, development control, consultations, active travel strategies, public transport studies, research, travel behavior change initiatives, etc.


o Assess the transportation impacts of proposed developments and provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements, prioritizing active and sustainable transport modes.


o Fulfill a technical role across multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring a challenging and engaging workload.


o Conduct technical reviews to maintain the highest quality standards in project deliverables.


o Prepare high-quality, client-facing technical reports and documentation for active travel and transport planning schemes.


o Understand project contracts and scope, ensuring deliverables align with client expectations.


o Establish and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues, collaborating across teams and disciplines to deliver joint projects effectively.


o Ensure the timely and budget-conscious delivery of high-quality project outcomes.


o Support line managers in resource planning, identifying and escalating concerns related to workload or utilization as needed.


o Provide feedback to line managers on team performance and professional development needs.


o Identify, assess, and manage technical project risks in collaboration with the line manager.


o Contribute to the company's sustainability initiatives through transport planning strategies.


o Actively participate in team and project meetings, providing valuable insights and expertise.


o Take responsibility for line management duties, including mentoring, coaching, and supporting the career development of junior team members.
