ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who has an advanced understanding of Wordpress, able to see the bigger picture & is able to work in an agile environment.

SKILLS

A minimum of 5+ years of working experience as a hands-on Wordpress developer

Strong programming experience in developing custom themes & plugins

Understanding of advanced Javascript & React framework

Advanced understanding of git & git practices

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Experience of working in an Agile work environment

Good communication skills

Ability to perform as an effective team member

Good understanding of coding standards

Eager to learn

Good understanding of TDD & BDD

Responsibilities

Responsible of delivering the features demanded by the project plan while improving the efficiency of the code

Understanding the architecture of the projects & taking responsibility of maintaining/improving them

Staying composed while managing priorities & issues

Being a good team player & able to understand conflict management

Communicating effectively on all the aspects of the agile process

Learning new skills & technologies that will help the project keeping up with the upcoming technical challenges
