P
roduction of detailed highway designs and construction drawings for various UK projects including residential, industrial, commercial, transport, water, retail, health and education projects.
M

andatory Skills:
G

ood command of written and verbal English
S

ignificant experience in highway infrastructure design including horizontal and vertical design (highways, junctions and roundabouts) highway detailing, traffic signs, road markings, kerbs, pavements and vehicle tracking.
F

ully conversant with software like Civil 3d.
U

K/International project experience essential in the application of DMRB/MfS/Local Highway Authority Design Guides or similar design standards and developing designs and drawings in compliant with Section S38/S278 applications
P

roblem solving and originality.
C

ultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind are essential requirements for the role.
H

igh degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others.
A

bility to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision.
A

bility to check work to ensure quality deliverables.
A

proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Excel is also expected.

roject management and line management welcomed but not essential
K

nowledge of UK highway drainage design including design to Section 104 of the Water Industry Act and Building Regulation technical approvals would be advantageous.
