Job Description

1 Product and Parts Reliability Testing -


Testing and Validation of HVAC/R Product for Domestic and International Market as per Project Plan, Analysis of Data and Report Generation, Installation of product, Product setup requirements. To Conduct Reliability Testing of Electrical / Mechanical Component as per International Test Standards (IS, IEC, ASTM etc.) Preparation of Reliability Reports & Log sheets / Detail Reliability Report for the Products & Components tested.
2 Lab Operation, Safety & Maintenance -


Implementation of Best Practices, and safety in the lab environment. Lab Utilization MIS, Preventive and Break down maintenance, Housekeeping 5S of Test Labs, Safety of lab equipment and personnel Procurement of new equipment, jigs & fixtures and test facilities as per requirement, communication and negotiation with vendors during procurement process. Procurement of Consumables / Spares / Capital items. Interaction and service finalization with service providers

3 Quality Check Program- Calibration as per plan, Intermediate calibration.

4 Product Certification -


Knowledge about Safety of Electrical and Electronic Components, Equipments and Product as per International Safety Certifications like IEC / CB Certification, G-Mark, RoHS Certification etc. Testing support to Project Leaders / System Integrators for External Lab Product Certification from external testing agencies. Interaction with respective agencies and Documentations for Product Certifications. Effective Implementation and Internal Audit of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Laboratory Management Systems (LMS) & NABL Criteria.

5. Testing Standards- Study of Field Failures and Lab Failure and development of new test conditions / Participate in DVVP / Understanding of Standards


6 People Development- Training to operators and technician, Discuss the Key points of Standards with operators and Technicians.

7. Productivity Improvement- Regular Improvement in Reliability Testing Operation to improve Productivity & Quality of Testing by introducing/updating new Tools.
