roject Safety / RAMS plan development. O
perational Safety / RAMS plan development. S
afety Management System implementation. A
ssurance Audits and Assessments such as: 3

. Independent Competent Person Audit / Assessment.
I

ndependent Safety Assessment. I
ndependent Verification and Validation. D
esign Verification. 4

. Detailed assessment and analysis:
U

ndertaking and checking of HAZOP and HAZID studies. U
ndertaking and assessment of Qualitative and Quantitative risk a
ssessment. I
mplementation and checking of detailed analysis including: F

MECA. F
TA / ETA. R
oot Cause Analysis. R
eliability / Availability modelling. 5
. RAM implementation planning such as:o Development and review of reliability Proof documentation (RAM demonstration planning).
D

evelopment and review of reliability assurance documentation (
Reliability Growth Analysis, Reliability demonstration reporting from both physical and predicted data.) D
evelopment and review of maintainability demonstration planning and reports. D
evelopment of RCM planning and implementation. 6

. Operational Safety Analysis:

ssessment of operational safety across technical and operational p
rocess aspects. D
evelopment and review of operational plans and procedures for s

ssessment and audit of operational compliance. 7

. Incident Management Planning and Investigation such as:

mergency and Crisis management process development and review. I

ey Competencies / Skills

andidates should be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge across all rail
e

ngineering aspects and operations with specialist in at least one key area
s

uch as:

olling Stock. S
tation equipment. T
elecommunications. T
rack infrastructure. S
tructures. C
andidate should preferably be a Degree in Engineering 6
+ years of experience on RAMS 5
+ year's experience on the Railway RAMS W
