ssurance Audits and Assessments such as:

. Independent Competent Person Audit / Assessment.

ndependent Safety Assessment.

ndependent Verification and Validation.

esign Verification.

. Detailed assessment and analysis:
U
ndertaking and checking of HAZOP and HAZID studies.
U
ndertaking and assessment of Qualitative and Quantitative risk
a
ssessment.
I
mplementation and checking of detailed analysis including:

MECA.
F
TA / ETA.
R
oot Cause Analysis.
R
eliability / Availability modelling.

. RAM implementation planning such as:o Development and review of reliability Proof documentation (RAM demonstration planning).

evelopment and review of reliability assurance documentation
(
Reliability Growth Analysis, Reliability demonstration reporting from both physical and predicted data.)

evelopment and review of maintainability demonstration planning and reports.
D
evelopment of RCM planning and implementation.

. Operational Safety Analysis:

ssessment of operational safety across technical and operational

rocess aspects.

evelopment and review of operational plans and procedures for

afety operations.

ssessment and audit of operational compliance.

. Incident Management Planning and Investigation such as:

mergency and Crisis management process development and review.

ncident management procedure development and review.

ncident investigations.

ey Competencies / Skills
C
andidates should be able to demonstrate a broad knowledge across all rail
e
ngineering aspects and operations with specialist in at least one key area
s
uch as:

rain Control / Signalling
R
olling Stock.
S
tation equipment.
T
elecommunications.
T
rack infrastructure.
S
tructures.
C
andidate should preferably be a Degree in Engineering

+ years of experience on RAMS
5
+ year's experience on the Railway RAMS
