Role Overview

The Senior Engineer - Purchase will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, vendor development, and material planning for construction/real estate projects. The role requires strong technical knowledge, negotiation skills, and ability to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and timely delivery of materials and services.

Key Responsibilities

Handle the procurement of construction materials, MEP items, plant & machinery, and other project-specific requirements. Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers. Conduct technical and commercial negotiations to ensure cost savings and value creation. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, quality standards, and statutory requirements. Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to understand material requirements and specifications. Prepare purchase orders, contracts, and maintain accurate procurement records in Highrise ERP systems. Track delivery schedules, resolve supply chain issues, and ensure timely availability of materials at project sites. Monitor vendor performance on quality, price, delivery, and service parameters. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost optimization opportunities. Support internal audit, MIS reporting, and budget control processes.

Qualifications & Experience

ITI, Dimploma, B.E. / B.Tech (Civil ) with strong understanding of construction/real estate procurement. 6-10 years of experience in purchase/procurement in real estate, infrastructure, or related industries. Proven track record in vendor management, negotiations, and supply chain optimization. Familiarity with ERP systems (Highrise/Kanix) preferred. Strong knowledge of contracts, taxation (GST, TDS), and compliance requirements in procurement.

Strong negotiation and cost management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Analytical mindset with problem-solving orientation. Technical knowledge of construction materials, MEP, and project procurement cycles. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ethical conduct, transparency, and integrity in all procurement dealings.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
