Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Responsible for handling design of different engine systems - Crankcase, cylinder head, FEAD, valve train, Intake & Exhaust layout etc

Responsible for preparing the 3D model and 2D for the different engine components

Interaction with supplier and closure on the manufacturing requirements

Interaction with development team for field failures and design updation.

Design review and DFMEA for the engine systems.

Experience

3~5 years

Industry Preferred

Automobile - Engine design and development domain

Qualifications

BE/ ME (Electrical and Electronics)

General Requirements

Technical domain expertise - Design domain

Familiar with 3D modeling - Unigraphics

Good Team player















Understanding of DFMEA. CAE methodology.

Should have knowledge of the different manufacturing process

Should know about the interface vehicle systems

Familiar with the different application requirements







Engine design domain core experties

Knowledge modeling software - Unigraphics

Knowledge of design & Stack up calculations

Design knowledge for After treatment system

Know the CAE simulation requirement and understanding of boundary conditions.

Knowledge of development Quality systems - DFMEA, DR etc.
