:What youll do:"EIIC functional excellence organization is aligned to CTOs strategy to drive One Eaton Engineering Functional Excellence. Charter of this organization is to simplify & create better work experiences for our Engineers by transforming existing engineering work processes. EIIC functional excellence organization will work with global Engineering Functional Excellence leaders in CTOs office, Electrical and Industrial Sector businesses.The role responsibility is to provide process improvement, digitization and governance to drive Operational Excellence in Engineering. The role requires working with cross-functional teams to execute digitalization project starting from requirement gathering to implementing digital solutions and ensuring that the solutions are scalable and sustainable. The role also involves monitoring and analyzing the performance of the digitized processes and making continuous improvements. Role will also be responsible for establishing and deploying standard practices and processes for Process Automation, Big Data Analytics, Dashboards."The candidate in this position is responsible to :1) Work with business stakeholders to capture requirements, develop user stories, post-processing of data by utilizing digital tools benchmarking to develop comprehensive proposals. Competent in understanding the business requirements & provide digital solutions. (Previous experience as a Power Platform developer will be preferable)
2) Design solution architecture proposals and develop mock up UI using relevant tools like Figma
3) Work to set strong databases, relationship for Digital Systems, including its components, functionalities, and interactions. Need to be aware of technologies like Snowflake, Palantir, Kafka, REST APIs etc. Support for integration of different digital systems for data transfer
4) Work with the IT Governance & Architecture team to evaluate Digitization proposals and ensure smooth deployment following rules of scalability & access control.
5) Drive business process automation projects using appropriate tools such as Power app, Power automate Python, SQL, RPA etc. Continuously builds digital skills to simplify processes.
6) Understand the business processes & develop the insights using various tool i.e.BI.
7) Well verse with Software Development Lifecycle and PM practices/ tools e.g. SCRUM, JIRA etc.
8) Manage effective stakeholder communications. Improve organization responsiveness to stakeholder requirements. Communication and manage customer expectations and commitments internal to the business. Manage communications (Viva Engage, Newsletters, etc.)
9) Obtain leadership or stakeholder agreements, implement improvements, and monitor post-implementation process performance. Ensures an effective change management process is utilized.
10) Support Operational excellence initiatives by playing a role of SME to support & execute digital systems
11) Establish coding standards and best practices to ensure the code is maintainable and efficient"Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science Engineering. Strong understanding of automation tools
3-5 years experience in Power Platform technology & end to end digital project execution with a total experience of 5-8 yearsSkills:Good exposure to Power app development, Database (Dataverse, SharePoint), Integration with other systems & documentation. Previous experience as Business Process Automation analyst will be preferable.
