Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of DB's Group-wide network for all areas of the Bank. GNS supports all aspects of network infrastructure in over 2500 offices in 50 countries.
Under the direction of Product Lead, AVP will work as a facilitator all the communication and collaboration between leadership and team players to ensure successful business outcomes. This individual will be responsible for automating deployment processes to reduce manual intervention and speed up release cycles. The individual should not only be technically sound but also passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and driving meaningful change.

Your key responsibilities
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
Collaborate with development and operations teams to establish the best practices for code management and version control
Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance
Automate deployment processes to reduce manual intervention and speed up release cycles
Provide training and support to team members on Infrastructure as Code methodologies and tools
Manage and optimize resource inventory to minimize costs while meeting performance requirements
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate Infrastructure as Code practices into existing workflows
Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and operational procedures
Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly
Responsible for delivering the requisite level of network resiliency and for testing network failover
Support project managers and the regional management team in project planning, tracking, and reporting when required
Your skills and experience
5-10 years of experience working in a corporate global network environment, ideally with financial institutions
Understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VXLAN, etc.)
Experience with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet or equivalent
Proficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages like YAML, JSON, or Python
Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
Proficiency in tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation
Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms like Google Cloud
Good to have knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
Ability to work in an Agile environment and adapt to changing requirements
Ability to mentor resources and guide project teams
Strict adherence to change procedures and design/configuration guidelines
Able to work independently and as a member of a team
Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNP or comparable)
The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends due to business requirements
