ROLE : Senior .NET Software Engineer ROLE DESCRIPTION The Senior .NET Software Engineer is responsible for diligently executing design and development processes to develop products, systems, and solutions to meet project specifications for the Load rite suite of products. You will work with a team of .NET professionals alongside being involved in the full software development life cycle of new features and products. Key Responsibilities Perform Software Engineering within the framework established for the project. Maintain the existing codebase and build new features Involved in maintaining and improving our AWS infrastructure Ensure that code is covered by unit and functional tests Assist the support team if a support call requires a code developer change As a senior, you will be involved in mentoring other team members Liaise with the product and test teams to ensure our code does what we think it does and does what it is supposed to do Designs and implementations are captured and documented using the Atlassian toolset Collaborate with other teams to build end-to-end solutions that truly benefit our global customer base Follow established software design principles and code standards throughout the software development life cycle. Contributes to the continuous improvement of cloud related technical processes. Key Requirements Ability to effectively communicate at both a technical and business requirements level. Excellent knowledge of Object-oriented Programming and Design Patterns. Knowledge of the following would be an advantageous ECS, EC2, RDS, VPN, Lambda, IOT Core, S3, Cognito, Route53oC .NET Core, .NET Framework Front End JavaScript or TypeScript, Angular Databases MySQL, LDAP, DynamoDB Processes Atlassian Products JIRA, Confluence, GitHub Products Mobile development using the Ionic framework other duties as required and requested by management. Keep up to date on the latest industry trends and new technologies. Personal Attributes Alongside of being a collaborative team player, the most important elements to being successful in this role will be Able to find the pragmatic balance between business and technical implementation needs Senior level with experience in dealing with software teams within an Agile environment and the ability to delegate work items to the software team in an efficient manner Comfortable working on the full software development stack Comfortable and effective communication of technical concepts to a range of audiences Significant industry experience in AWS cloud services and object-oriented development Demonstrated commercial experience in C, .NET Core, Angular, TypeScript, Microservices, MySQL, HTML5 CSS JavaScript, RESTful API Comfortable with source control using git. SOFT SKILLS Excellent communication skills, verbal as well as written Positive attitude with flexibility and maturity to work in a challenging client environment. Ability to drive project responsibilities in a dynamic and proactive manner.
