Job Description

Responsibilities: Execute Mechanical System Installations:
Perform hands-on assembly, alignment, and installation of mechanical components, including turbines, shafts, and gearboxes, ensuring adherence to detailed design specifications and project requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during installation, such as improper alignments or structural inconsistencies, by applying technical expertise to ensure the system's reliability and safety.
Conduct Mechanical Commissioning Tests:
Perform detailed testing and validation of mechanical systems during commissioning, ensuring all components function as intended and meet performance benchmarks under varying conditions.
Document the results of each test, providing feedback on any operational discrepancies or areas that require further refinement to ensure readiness for project handover.
Ensure On-Site Safety and Compliance:
Follow established safety protocols rigorously during all installation, testing, and maintenance activities, ensuring that personal and team safety is prioritized at every step.
Actively inspect work areas for potential hazards, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Report any safety concerns or violations to supervisors for immediate resolution.
Address Operational Issues:
Identify and address technical issues arising during installation or operation by conducting a thorough analysis of the problem and implementing corrective actions under supervision.
Participate in root cause analysis for system faults, using diagnostic tools to determine the underlying causes and proposing viable solutions to minimize future disruptions.
Perform Maintenance and Inspections:
Carry out routine inspections of turbines, rotating equipment, and mechanical assemblies to detect early signs of wear, damage, or inefficiencies. Ensure inspection findings are thoroughly documented.
Execute preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubrication, tightening, and component replacements, to enhance the lifespan and performance of the mechanical systems while reducing unplanned downtime.
Maintain Accurate Records:
Maintain detailed logs of all activities performed, including installation work, test results, inspections, and maintenance schedules, ensuring that records are accurate and up-to-date.
Prepare comprehensive reports on task completions, outlining key observations, issues encountered, and recommendations for future action to enhance system efficiency and reliability.
Qualifications: Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Work Experience:
3-5 years of experience in mechanical roles within renewable energy projects, including project design, implementation, and management. Proven expertise in integrating new technologies and leading technical teams is essential.
