Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Engineer - Maintenance

to manage and maintain a wide range of industrial machinery used in railway component manufacturing. The candidate will handle preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of spot welding machines, laser welding machines, TIG/MIG welding machines, bending and shearing machines, and EOT cranes.
Prior

railway industry experience

is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive & breakdown maintenance for: Spot Welding Machines Laser Welding Machines TIG & MIG Welding Machines Bending & Shearing Machines EOT Cranes Identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical & hydraulic machine issues Ensure machinery uptime and reduce production downtime Maintain records of maintenance schedules, breakdowns, and spare parts Implement machine safety practices and ensure compliance Coordinate with production and engineering teams for smooth workflow Assist with installation, calibration, and testing of new machinery Monitor equipment performance and carry out continuous improvements

Required Experience

3-5 years

of experience in machinery maintenance Strong exposure to welding machines & heavy industrial equipment Railway field experience is

strongly preferred

Educational Qualification

B.E. / B.Tech

(Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics)

Diploma

(Mechanical / Electrical) with relevant experience

Key Skills

Maintenance of welding machines (Spot, MIG, TIG, Laser) EOT Crane maintenance Troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic systems Maintenance planning & documentation Knowledge of industrial safety standards Strong analytical & problem-solving skills Railway machinery exposure
