Strong expertise in machine shop programming, tooling, and process optimization.
Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining operations.
Analyse and improve existing tooling and machining processes to enhance productivity and reduce cycle time.
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis of machining-related issues.
Collaborate with design, quality, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of components.
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Should have 10 years of experience in machine shop operations, programming, and tooling.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, models, and specifications for machining feasibility.
Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and fixtures for new and existing components.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives in tooling and processes using lean manufacturing techniques.
Maintain and update process documentation, SOPs, and machining standards.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and machinists.
