ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Work closely with the RF design team to provide high quality layout in a timely manner Proficient in block level, macro level and top level floor planning, assembly and verification Experience in leading a project layout team a plus Experience working in multiple processes Communicate regular status updates EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE BE./ B. Tech/B.Sc and/or equivalent experience 6-10 years of layout experience, 1+ years of RF experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Solid understanding of RF building blocks such LNA's, Mixers, VCO's, PA's etc. Strong familiarity with Cadence Virtuoso, Layout XL, Calibre and Unix Knowledge of layout techniques for device matching, parasitic reduction, RF shielding, optimal high frequency routing Execution in Top Level assembly of complete radio Solid understanding of RC delay, electromigration, coupling effects, latchup prevention and ESD protection Strong familiarity with P&R methods a plus Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook Outstanding communication and verbal presentation skills.
