Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Backend Developer to join our team and work on building and maintaining backend microservices using NodeJS (TypeScript/JS and serverless technology on the AWS platform. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable, and secure microservices that drive our business-critical applications. Creating engineering documents to comply with Verification and Validation (V&V) product development policies, practices and procedures.

In your new role you will:


Design and develop backend microservices using NodeJS (TypeScript/JS) and serverless technology on AWS. Work with the development team to integrate microservices with other systems and applications. Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, and S3 to build highly available and scalable systems. Handle operational issues and work closely to monitor and maintain production systems. Write and maintain detailed documentation for all developed services. Troubleshoot and debug issues with the microservices as they arise. Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to identify and address performance bottlenecks

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:


Strong experience with

NodeJS (TypeScript/JS)

Working experience with

serverless technologies and the AWS ecosystem.

(At least 4+ years of hands on experience in serverless) Experience working in maintenance of Production work loads Experience creating or working with Observability platforms. Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts Experience with

designing and implementing RESTful web services.

Experience in Operation Excellence, Observability, Disaster Recovery & Incident Management Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Strong analytical / problem-solving skills Know how on Agile Methodology Experience in working in a multi-national / multi-cultural / multi-time zone environment Excellent Customer-facing written and oral communications skills
