Accountabilities:
As a Senior Engineer for AstraZeneca's Enterprise IoT/ML platform, you'll be pivotal in developing and implementing advanced machine learning solutions integrated with our IoT infrastructure and VR headsets. Your responsibilities include:

• Developing and managing full-stack software solutions incorporating ML models for IoT devices (includes VR headsets).
• Building and evaluating statistical ML models and neural networks to process data.
• Creating proof-of-concept implementations based on business requirements, as quickly as possible.
• Implementing and optimizing LLM solutions through effective prompt engineering.
• Collaborating with internal teams for full-stack deployments, updates, and support of IoT topologies.
• Building and maintaining both server-side logic and front-end interfaces applying modern frameworks.
• Serving as a domain expert with comprehensive knowledge of IoT platforms, ML integration, device security, onboarding, and provisioning.
• Evaluating and comparing ML models available in the market to select optimal solutions for our requirements.
• Reviewing enterprise projects and suggesting optimization techniques.

Essential Skills/Experience:
Machine Learning & AI - Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience working with statistical ML models
• Strong knowledge of neural networks and understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with prompt engineering and effective utilization of LLMs
• Ability to compare and evaluate different ML models to select the most appropriate for specific requirements

Cloud & DevOps - Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in AWS cloud technologies with particular emphasis on AWS SageMaker
• Experience with AWS Lambda, AWS IoT Core services, S3, RDS/No-SQL
• Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools like Terraform
• Working knowledge of Linux systems

Full Stack Development expertise is a Plus

• Expertise in frontend frameworks such as React or Vue.js
• Backend development experience with Node.js or Python
• Proficiency in source code management tools (Git, VSTS)
• Experience with databases (NoSQL or SQL)

IoT & System Integration - Mandatory skills

• Understanding of IoT architecture and integration patterns
• Knowledge of information security techniques (PKI, TPM attestation, SSH key validation, TLS)
• Strong fixing skills for fast-paced and high-impact environments

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Experience working with NVIDIA GPUs for ML model training and inference
• Knowledge of IoT sensor technologies and ability to understand sensor datasheets
• Experience with IoT communication standards (MQTT, AMQP, Web Sockets, BLE, ZigBee, LoRaWAN)
• Experience in computer vision projects
