About the Role
The
Senior Engineer - Infrastructure Systems Group (ISG)
will lead the design and coordination of
electrical auxiliary, MEP, safety, and control systems
for renewable energy and infrastructure projects. This role bridges electrical, mechanical, and control disciplines to ensure reliable, efficient, and compliant infrastructure designs for substations, solar plants, BESS, and allied facilities. It requires strong multidisciplinary coordination, design expertise, and vendor interaction capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
1.1.2.1
Design & Engineering
Design and review electrical auxiliary systems including lighting, earthing, small power, and internal distribution.
Develop MEP designs covering fire detection and protection, HVAC, plumbing, and water supply systems.
Design SCADA, communication, and control system architectures integrating plant and grid-level interfaces.
Develop auxiliary power and UPS systems ensuring redundancy, safety, and reliability.
Prepare equipment sizing, cable schedules, and load distribution for auxiliary systems.
Perform lighting design using
Dialux / Dialux Evo
, short-circuit and load flow studies using
ETAP
, and layouts using
AutoCAD
.
Develop system design basis reports, specifications, and data sheets in compliance with IEC, IS, and NFPA standards.

Project Delivery
Coordinate infrastructure interfaces between electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
Review vendor drawings, datasheets, and ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.
Support
factory acceptance testing (FAT)
, site inspections, and commissioning of auxiliary and MEP systems.
Prepare BoQs, design reports, and as-built documentation.
Monitor installation quality, safety systems testing, and system handover documentation.

Collaboration & Support
Interface with OEMs, EPCs, and vendors to assess techno-commercial proposals and resolve technical queries.
Work closely with internal engineering groups (AC, DC, Substation, Civil) for integrated project delivery.
Provide MEP-related inputs for bid proposals, cost estimation, and feasibility studies.
Contribute to standardization of design templates, tools, and processes across the ISG.
Mentor junior engineers and guide them in design coordination and quality review.

Education:
BE/BTech in Electrical, Engineering;
Experience:
6-8 years in electrical auxiliary, MEP, and control system design for power, renewable energy, or industrial infrastructure projects.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in

, and relevant MEP design tools.
Knowledge of
