As a Senior Engineer in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Operations at Optiv, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational support, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise IGA platforms including Zilla Security, Saviynt, and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC). You will ensure the reliability, performance, and compliance of identity services across client environments, while supporting access governance, provisioning workflows, and access review campaigns. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with a strong operational mindset and a passion for identity security.
How You'll Make an ImpactProvide ongoing operational support for IGA platforms (Zilla, Saviynt, SailPoint ISC), including issue resolution, performance tuning, and system health monitoring.
Manage daily administration tasks such as user provisioning/deprovisioning, access request fulfillment, role management, and policy enforcement.
Monitor and maintain connectors and integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), SaaS applications, and on-prem systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve access issues, sync failures, and workflow errors, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Support access certification campaigns, including campaign setup, monitoring, and remediation tracking.
Perform routine audits and reconciliations to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to analyze access data, identify anomalies, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain and update technical documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and configuration guides.
Participate in change management processes, ensuring updates and patches are tested and deployed with minimal risk.
Provide on-call support and respond to incidents related to identity services as part of a rotation.
What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in IGA/IAM operations and support, with hands-on experience in Zilla Security, Saviynt, and SailPoint ISC.
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, and compliance requirements.
Experience with troubleshooting connectors, APIs, and synchronization issues across hybrid environments.
Familiarity with directory services (AD, Azure AD), SSO, and authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python) for automation and reporting.
Ability to manage access review campaigns, SoD policies, and remediation workflows.
Strong documentation skills and experience maintaining operational runbooks and SOPs.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on customer service and operational excellence.
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and ITIL-based support models.
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOX, HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 27001.
Certifications such as SailPoint Certified IdentityNow Professional, Saviynt Certified Engineer, or CISSP/CISM/CIAM are a plus
The role demands the availability for 6PM to 3AM IST time zone.
