Our team contributes to the Global e-commerce business by providing Order Management and Order Orchestration capabilities with Omni Fulfillment experience. This team is also in journey of transforming a traditional monolith architecture to a cloud-based micro-service architecture. This team is responsible for designing OMS system & Order services that contribute to Lululemon goal to double Global e-commerce presence. Has proven experience in effectively applying mathematical, and social principles to design, build, & maintain technology products, and solutions that provide fantastic customer experiences.A Day in the Life:

• Have a good understanding of algorithms, data structures, programming languages, programming paradigms to test and operate sustainable client-side or server-side software applications and services.
• Develop scalable, secure modern micro-services using Spring Boot, test driven development, and cloud native design patterns.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production system issues. Discuss the current sprint and any problems that need to be addressed by our Tech Managers and Scrum Masters.
• Work with the teams to add and refine acceptance criteria and the definition-of-done to user stories.
• Partner with other lululemon technical teams (middleware, database, and infrastructure) to create interface documents and mappings to ensure the eCommerce platform is built in a Service Oriented Architecture manner
• Provide L3 support for Production issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent
• 10- 12+ years of software engineering experience
• 8+ years experience designing design scalable, secure modern micro-services using Spring Boot, test driven development, and cloud native design patterns
• Proven experience building and deploying microservices (On cloud infra) in distributed systems.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, or similar frameworks.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization technologies.
• Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Solid understanding of security best practices, OAuth, JWT, and API security.
• Proficiency in Git and Git-based workflows.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban).
• IBM Sterling Order Management experience is a strong plus.
• Order Management domain knowledge is a strong plus.
