"(A) :

Execute Piping engineering of projects leading a dedicated team of 4 to 8 persons. This could be an entire small project or specific areas of a large project.

(1) Single point of contact (SPOC) and accountability for quality and on-time delivery for piping activities of assigned Project/Area.

(2) Participate in Design Reviews.

(3) Undertake project related interactions with Onsite coordinator.

(4) Support Piping Lead in preparing proposals and manhour estimates.

(5) Support Piping Lead in providing manpower forecast and manpower gap analysis. Support Piping Lead in harmonising allocation of shared team members.

(6) Support Piping Lead in project scheduling, including extension/re-baselining needs.

(7) Support Piping Lead in Interdiscipline interfaces.

(8) Support Piping Lead in Claims related to rework, extra work, idle time, etc.

(9) Support Piping Lead in maintaining uniformity and enhancing efficiency of design philosophies via regular feedbacks and lessons learnt data.

(10) Resolve queries/concerns of team members.

(B) Knowledge Base / Soft Skills

(1) Hands on experience in Piping deliverables like Plot Plan, Equipment Layout, Piping Layout, Piping MTO, Piping Isometrics, Pipe Supports.

(2) Good understanding of 3D model based detail engineering, interfaces with 3D Admin.

(3) Basic understanding of Piping stress analysis concepts.

(4) Good understanding of Interdiscipline interfaces and coordination.

(5) Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.

(6) Good understanding of Brownfield / Turnaround / MOC projects involving interfaces with existing facilities.

(7) Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Paint.

(8) Good English communication skills - written and oral.

Below experience will be an added advantage

(a) Overall awareness and understanding of Project lifecycle, Piping detail engineering process, timelines and milestones.

(b) Subcontracting.

(c) Site posting experience during construction phase.

(d) Working with Laser Scan Inputs.

(e) Experience in Piping Material Specification and Valves procurement.

(f) Working knowledge of 3D modelling."
