Structural mechanics experience preferably applied to Locomotive Products with 9 to 15 years of experience
Experience of FEA tools preferably Workbench and Space claim
Experience in
Static, Fatigue, Weld, Bolt design calculations, Random Vibrations, Harmonic and Thermo mechanical Analysis
Preparing and documenting
FEA calculation results
Good communication and interpersonal skills including with third parties (Customer)
Responsibilities:
Should have 9 to 15 years of experience in
Static, Fatigue, Weld, Bolt design calculations, Random Vibrations, Harmonic and Thermo mechanical Analysis
using
Ansys Workbench and Space claim.
Should be able to clearly articulate the desired changes/enhancements and meshing techniques
Applying calculation methodologies, processes, and tools to endure deliverables quality and their acceptance by the customer within committed limits
Translate actual problem to FEA model, interpret analysis results & select best solution
Should have knowledge on EN standards for assessment of structures and welds
Support development of existing and new products
Should have a good understanding of global design standards
Good to have knowledge on castings, sheet metal parts manufacturing, machined parts manufacturing etc
Work experience in Locomotive products will be added advantage. Knowledge in other industrial domain desired
Experience of using NX Nastran / Sim center is an added advantage.
Work Experience
B.E. Mechanical Engineering with 9 to 15 years of experience in Rail/Locomotive industries.
Hands on experience in ANSYS Workbench and Space Claim
Perform Static, Fatigue Analysis and FEA Modeling
Ability to work independently and meet schedule, cost, and quality requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Good interpersonal skills
