esign of electrical systems at Railway Stations (above and below ground) through all design stages from concept to detailed design. D
esign of low voltage reticulation and distribution systems (230/400Volt) including UPS sources. D
esign of general lighting systems and emergency lighting systems. D
esign of cable management systems (CMS) including trunking, tray, and conduits and the preparation of CMS sizing calculations and self-checking and presentation of results. O
peration of AMTECH / Electrical OM software to produce design for low voltage systems including selection of cable types, protective devices and self-checking and presentation of results. P
repare user requirements, technical specifications, design specifications and commissioning plans. P
rovide technical guidance in planning and executing assigned projects. S
upervise and verify the work performed by the designers/ modeller to meet the requirements of the project. L
iaise with UK lead office to Estimate the budget and time associated with the projects within the area of expertise. E
nsure the compatibility of the Electrical discipline with other disciplines involved in the projects. C
reate a health and motivating work environment and atmosphere. D
evelop a well designed and motivating evaluation program. R
esponsible for overseeing all activities within a team. Manage a team and manage employee development, employee appraisal, and staff development etc. I
dentify team goals, evaluate team progress and resolve conflict. B
achelor's/master's degree in electrical engineering. E
xperience of 7-10 years' of working with Electrical design. Q
ualifications meeting the requirements for Chartership with a UK Engineering Institution. Q
ualifications in the requirements of BS7671 (e.g. City & Guilds Requirements for Electrical Installations (2382). E
xtensive experience of working within a rail station environment and good working knowledge of Network Rail, TfL & LUL standards. E
xperience of contributing to the electrical design on multidisciplinary projects and knowledge of rail design assurance processes. G
ood knowledge and understanding of the requirements necessary to develop and progress projects through the early stages of the lifecycle - LUL, GRIP and RIBA. E
xcellent verbal and written communication skills. P
