Senior Engineer - Durability
Job description:

• Showcase high level of confidence in simulation results by adopting best practices, appropriate assumptions, and required simplifications

• Drive Feasible, Implementable Design solutions to meet stringent performance requirements by balancing other multi-domain performance requirements

• Perform Linear & Non-Linear, Modal and Transient Simulations at Vehicle & subsystems Level

• Perform the Durability analysis for fatigue life prediction using different fatigue software

• Perform optimization studies and a Mind-set of continuous improvement supporting common methods and tools

• Implement analytical approach and establish correlation with measurements and test

• Work in a Global and Multi-cultural environment with an opportunity to be part of complete product Development life cycle Soft Skills:

• Demonstrate Accountability and Commitment in securing Quality, Delivery and Product feature for all Durability deliveries from Bangalore

• Excellent communication skills, Learning on fly, Team player, Emphasis on Detailing & Problem-solving skills Qualification:

• Masters\' degree in a Mechanical/Automotive domain

Domain Expertise/Skill sets:

• 9+ years of CAE experience in Product development from Automotive industry

• Performed end to end Program Durability development for at least 3 major Programs

• Very Good knowledge of Fatigue, Non-linearity, and Structural simulation

• Highly Proficient in CAE Tools like MSC, ABAQUS, n-Code/other Fatigue software, Hyper-Works & Beta-CAE.

• Experience in performing optimization studies is preferred

• Exposure to Physical testing and measurements is an added advantage

• Innovative mindset, must have filed Innovation patents and industrialized in Products

• Technical Publications and reputed Technical Conference Presentations

• Excellent communication skills , Team player, Emphasis on Detailing & Problem-solving skills
