"The Centre for Intelligent Power located at Eaton India's Innovation Centre in Pune and Eaton's global headquarters in Dublin, applies data science to transform all aspects of our company. We're working on solving the technical challenges of today's digital world, while developing ground-breaking technology that's going to power the next generation of futuristic products and services.

We're continuing to expand our organization and we are excited to announce that we are recruiting a Senior Data Scientist to join our team. The Senior Data Scientist will collaborate with Eaton product groups to develop new data-science based product features. The features will primarily address emergent use cases in the industrial and energy domains. The successful candidate will be expected to analyse requirements to drive the research and development of Machine Learning techniques to production of the features and monitoring after. In addition, the candidate will be expected to understand and consider system constraints - especially constraints related to implementing algorithms on resource-constrained platforms. "



"o Carry out data analytics and optimization using machine learning & deep learning and and participate in strategic planning for data analytics.

Integrate data & perform ad-hoc analysis and prototype ideas, research and develop statistical models, and run experiments Design data-driven solutions to solve critical business problems, understand company needs, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance or develop products using new or existing data streams. Present and promote results to both internal stakeholders and external clients and partners Use suitable databases and project designs to boost joint development efforts Improve and support existing data science products and Develop custom data models and algorithms Build tools and processes to monitor and analyze performance and data accuracy, and leveraging predictive modeling to optimize targeting, revenue generation, customer experiences, and more. Demonstrate exceptional impact in delivering projects in terms of architecture, technical deliverables, and project delivery throughout the project lifecycle. The candidate is expected to be conversant with Agile methodologies and tools and have a track record of delivering products in a production environment Work with a team of experts in deep learning, machine learning, distributed systems, program management, and product teams, and work on all aspects of design, development and delivery of deep learning enabled end-to-end pipelines and solutions. Lead the development of technical solutions and implement architectures for project and products across data engineering and data science teams Evaluate business requirements to determine potential solutions Recommend and set up appropriate performance monitoring solutions; author and implement the solutions Is accountable for end-to end delivery of Algorithms Author high-quality, highly-performance, unit-tested code to extract and transform data based on business and data science needs Work directly with stakeholders, engineering, and test to create high quality solutions that solve end-user problems. Mentor others in the use of tools and techniques Explore and recommend new tools and processes which can be leveraged across the data preparation pipeline for capabilities and efficiencies Collaborate broadly across multiple functions (data engineering, product management, IT, etc.) to readily make key data readily available and easily consumable Create Reusable components which would accelerate algorithm development cycle

Qualifications:

Master's degree pusuing in Mechanical, computer science, Data Science, software engineering, digital signal processing, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace or related field

"o 5+ years of progressive experience in delivering data science/AI technology solutions in a production environment

6 years working with customers (internal and external) on developing requirements and working to deliver end-to-end solution

Required

Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering field with strong knowledge in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, AI, Statistics, and Data Mining.

Required

Experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning (CNN,RNN, ..), Reinforcement Learning, Optimization Techniques, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Recommendation AI Systems. Experience in Tensor Flow, Scikit, Keras, Spark ML Strong programming skills in Python, R, Matlab,PySpark, SparkR, Scala along with a good understanding of the Linux platform Strong knowledge on Databricks Experience in at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, Google) Excellent communication (verbal, presentation, documentation) skills, working with teams that are geographically dispersed, to produce solutions that satisfy functional and non-functional requirements and the ability to effectively explain technical concepts Ability to write code that is accessible, secure, and optimized for performance, with the capability to output to different types of consumers and systems. Solid understanding of Java and/or Python and associated IDE's (Eclipse, IntelliJ, etc.) Extensive experience with Agile development methodologies and concepts Strong problem solving and software debugging skills Good judgment, time management, and decision-making skills
