Job Description

A Senior Civil Engineer manages large infrastructure projects from concept to completion, leading teams, ensuring compliance with codes/safety, overseeing design & construction, managing budgets/schedules, and mentoring junior staff, requiring a B.S. in Civil Engineering, PE license, and extensive experience in project management and site oversight. Key duties involve design, site inspection, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and reporting to ensure projects meet quality, time, and budget goals. Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership:

Lead projects, manage resources, set schedules, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Technical Oversight:

Review designs, perform complex analyses, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical issues.

Team Management:

Mentor, train, and supervise junior engineers and construction teams.

Coordination:

Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and regulatory authorities.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, codes, and environmental standards.

Reporting:

Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, tender documents, and project updates.
Essential Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's often preferred.

Licensure:

Professional Engineer (PE) license is typically required.

Experience:

Significant years in civil engineering, ideally with project/construction management experience.

Skills:

Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, budgeting, and proficiency with software like AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MS Project.
Typical Work Environment

Mix of office-based design and site visits for progress monitoring. May require working beyond standard hours for critical deadlines.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
