Position Summary

Senior Engineer - Automation experienced in Selenium tool with 2+ Years of relevant experience in Selenium test tools. The successful candidate must be excited about quality, able to function

independently, and willing to work in other areas of Quality Assurance as necessary. Experience working with Agile development methodology is a plus. Previous solid testing experience and understanding of Best Practices and principles of testing are required for this position

PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Good hands on experience on Selenium Web Driver Understands the Project Requirements Prepare test scenarios and Test cases Prepare Test data/Test Bed Prepare Automation BB (Bad Boy) Scripts /Selenium Scripts Conduct testing such as sanity, functional, Regression. Preparation of Test Reports from execution of Automated scripts /Selenium and Manual test Cases Provide Daily reports to QA Team Lead /QA Manager on the status of the above tasks. Perform Root cause analysis of issues reported Establish close working relationship with development teams. Log defects Initiate new QA ideas and concepts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA Engineers. Preparing Lesson Learnt documents from the previous project testing experience. Participate in Reviews Meetings. Experience in preparation of Test Plans. 3-5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with 2+ years Selenium experience Manual testing experience, an understanding of Best Practices and principals of testing Experience with various testing methodologies Experience in testing Web-based applications (preferably Internet-based) Some experience with automated testing tools with preference given to candidates with Selenium and Open Source Tools Basic SQL query skills, understanding of database schemas.
