Senior Engineer - Applications Development

Mercer Services Delivery group is seeking a Senior Engineer. Primarily focused on Mercers Global Billing, Time Entry and Workflow systems.

We will count on you to:
xc2xa7 Ensures quality of technology deliverables by contributing to and communication of standards and best practices for development, quality assurance, security and service on-boarding.
xc2xa7 Performs and documents architecture modeling and design, designs software components, message/interface design, processes, and data flow to meet system requirements and defines and implements flexible, reusable and maintainable architectures.
xc2xa7 Participate in technical design and review. Develop and deliver good quality code.
xc2xa7 Review code; creates and maintains documents as a part of the solution delivery process.
xc2xa7 Conduct POCs against new technologies or innovation ideas
xc2xa7 Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and develops technical specifications to resolve them.
xc2xa7 Resolve issues and makes recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
xc2xa7 Communicate with members of the IT team on a regular basis and may serve as point of contact.
xc2xa7 Have a working knowledge of Database design
What you need to have:
xc2xa7 Hands on experience on designing and coding on .NET/MVC applications.
xc2xa7 Strong experience with
o C# ASP .NET, MVC
o Java Script, JQuery
o Web API
o SQL Server
o Good knowledge on CSS and HTML
o Good Understanding on GitHub/ADO
xc2xa7 Good to have knowledge of Angular
xc2xa7 Designing API interfaces & documentation using Swagger, understanding of API authorization and access control patterns, familiarity with industry standard API gateway.
xc2xa7 Experience with DevOps Pipeline.
