Computer Vision Engineer to develop and deploy AI-powered computer vision models using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and unsupervised learning techniques. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and training camera-based AI models for various applications.
Roles & Responsibilities Spearhead the development of high-performance, real-time computer vision algorithms for autonomous gun turret platforms, with emphasis on aerial threat detection, multi-object tracking, and dynamic classification of drones. Architect and fine-tune deep learning models optimized for deployment on edge computing platforms with stringent resource constraints, ensuring minimal latency and maximal inference accuracy. Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical and embedded systems engineers to seamlessly integrate vision modules into custom hardware architectures, including FPGA and SoC-based systems. Design and execute rigorous validation protocols using synthetic and real-world datasets to benchmark algorithmic performance under diverse environmental and operational conditions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering domain expertise in AI-driven perception systems and scalable machine learning pipelines. Drive the maturation of prototype vision systems into production-ready, defense-grade solutions, supporting modular adaptations for varied weapon platforms, engagement distances, and mission profiles. Design, develop, and deploy computer vision models using CNNs and unsupervised learning techniques. Work with camera-based datasets to train and fine-tune models for specific applications. Implement and optimize algorithms for object detection, tracking, and classification.
