About the Role

As the

Senior Email Security Lead at NCG

, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization against evolving email threats. You will help protect sensitive information and maintain the trust of our clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough investigations into

email threats

, leveraging advanced tools and techniques to identify and mitigate risks. Design and implement

detection rules

to enhance our email security systems, ensuring timely identification of potential threats. Provide

guidance and mentorship

to junior team members, fostering their professional development and enhancing team capabilities. Collaborate with

SOC teams

to address advanced persistent threats, ensuring a unified response to security incidents. Analyze

threat intelligence data

to inform security strategies and improve our email security posture. Ensure that

email security practices comply with relevant regulations

and industry standards, contributing to the overall governance framework.

You Might Be Our Ideal Match If You:

Hold a

Bachelors degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Have

36 years of experience

in email security, cybersecurity, or a related domain. Are proficient in

email security platforms

, particularly

Proofpoint

or similar technologies. Possess a strong understanding of

threat intelligence

,

email forensics

, and

incident response methodologies

. Have experience with

scripting languages

such as

Python or PowerShell

for automation and analysis. Are familiar with

regulatory compliance frameworks

(e.g.,

GDPR, HIPAA

) as they pertain to email security. Demonstrate excellent

communication skills

, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
