Senior Electronics Engineer
with a strong foundation in industrial electronics to join our robotics company.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and prototype 2-4 layer PCBs for robust robotic applications using tools like Altium or KiCad.
Integrate and calibrate sensors (e.g., proximity, load, encoders) for real-time data acquisition and processing.
Develop control algorithms and embedded firmware for precise system performance using microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, ESP32, Arduino, NodeMCU) and SBCs (e.g., Raspberry Pi).
Perform power distribution calculations, including voltage regulation and thermal management for robotic systems.
Implement serial communication protocols (e.g., PySerial, CAN, Modbus) for seamless subsystem integration.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot hardware/software issues in real-time industrial settings.
Collaborate with mechanical and software teams on system integration and onsite deployment.
Test and validate systems for reliability, safety, and compliance with industrial standards (e.g., IEC, UL).
Document designs, processes, and improvements for scalability and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Proficiency in 2-4 layer PCB design, schematic capture, and layout optimization.
Hands-on experience with
Raspberry Pi, NodeMCU, Arduino
, and other microcontroller platforms.
Strong expertise in
embedded programming (C, C++, Python)
for real-time applications.
Experience with sensor integration, data acquisition, and real-time control systems.
Familiarity with power electronics, including power budgeting and protection circuits.
Skilled in using diagnostic tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers) for testing and debugging.
Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance, safety standards, and industrial communication protocols.
Strong understanding of analog/digital electronics, signal integrity, and noise mitigation.
Knowledge of control systems and dynamic response tuning.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines and in onsite environments.
