Job Title: Senior Electrician - Special Purpose Machine Assembly

Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial machine wiring or SPM assembly

Job Purpose:

The Senior Electrician will be responsible for complete machine wiring activities based on electrical diagrams and layout drawings. The role involves ensuring high-quality electrical assembly, conducting testing and validation, guiding technicians, and maintaining safety, documentation, and continuous improvement standards in the wiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out electrical wiring of machines and panels as per wiring diagrams, electrical layouts, and engineering instructions. Follow best wiring practices to ensure reliability, aesthetics, and maintainability of electrical systems. Identify non-conforming components or wiring deviations and coordinate rectification with relevant departments. Perform cold testing, power-on tests, safety checks, and functional testing of machines before final dispatch. Update circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOMs) after modifications, and maintain traceability records. Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety guidelines, proper handling of tools, and use of PPE. Supervise and guide electricians and technicians in wiring procedures, routing methods, and connection standards. Promote and maintain 5S, safety activities, and continuous improvement initiatives within the electrical assembly area. Work closely with design, quality, and assembly teams to ensure high-quality, compliant electrical installations.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of industrial machine wiring, electrical safety, and SPM control systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and panel layouts. Familiarity with control panels, sensors, relays, drives, and PLC wiring. Hands-on experience in electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation. Knowledge of quality standards, 5S, Kaizen, and workplace improvement processes. Strong leadership, communication, and team mentoring skills. Commitment to safe, systematic, and efficient work practices.

Work Environment:

Shop-floor-based role involving electrical assembly, testing, and troubleshooting. Requires adherence to high safety standards while working with energized systems. Interaction with cross-functional teams including design, mechanical assembly, and quality.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
