Burns & McDonnell's Water Global Practice in Mumbai, India is seeking to hire an Electrical Engineer to design and engineering electrical systems associated with Municipal and Industrial water, wastewater treatment, and drinking water facilities.


Key Responsibilities:


Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including power distribution (low and medium voltage), emergency power system design, load calculations. One-line drawings, motor schematics, and wiring diagrams. Design calculation of Transformer, Emergency generator, UPS, Battery system, cable, and lighting system. Cable schedule, panel board schedule. Grounding plan, cable tray & power plan, duct bank plan, Area classification plan, and lighting plan. Technical specification and datasheets of major electrical equipment. Preparation of Technical bid evaluation and vendor drawing reviews. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across multiple BMcD offices for project execution and standard compliance. Innovation and improvement in Electrical engineering design practices. Quality assurance, adherence to project schedule, and meeting client requirements.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:


Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering. 4 to 6 years of experience in Electrical engineering for industrial & municipal water / wastewater treatment projects. Knowledge of NEC, NFPA and U.S. local codes and standards. Proficiency in Revit, and AutoCAD for electrical design and coordination. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills. Experience on U.S. based EPC or design-build projects preferred.
