Job Summary:

We are hiring an

Electrical Estimation & Costing Engineer

with strong experience in

residential projects

. The role involves end-to-end estimation and costing activities to support competitive bidding and accurate project budgeting. Only candidates with

relevant residential project experience

will be considered.

Maintenance project experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate

electrical cost estimates

based on drawings, specifications, and scope of work. Perform

quantity take-offs (BOQ)

, rate analysis, and preparation of detailed cost sheets. Study tender documents and drawings to identify scope, exclusions, and assumptions. Float enquiries to vendors/subcontractors, compare quotations, and finalize best rates. Prepare and submit

tender documentation

(technical and commercial) within timelines. Coordinate with

design, planning, procurement, and project teams

to resolve queries and optimize costs. Support pre-bid clarifications, negotiations, and post-tender finalization. Ensure estimates comply with applicable standards, specifications, and company guidelines. Assist in handover of finalized budgets to execution teams.

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of

residential electrical systems

(HT/LT, lighting, power, earthing, lightning protection). Expertise in

BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and cost estimation

. Good understanding of

market rates, vendor management, and rate negotiation

. Ability to read and interpret

electrical drawings and specifications

. Proficiency in

MS Excel

and estimation tools/software. Good analytical, coordination, and documentation skills. Ability to work under tight deadlines.

Eligibility Criteria:

Minimum

5 years of experience

in

Electrical Estimation & Costing

for

residential projects only

.

Maintenance and other domain experience will not be considered.

Proficiency in BOQ preparation, rate analysis, and cost control. Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, drawings, and market rates. Good analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹63,183.48 - ₹82,309.42 per month
