About the Role:



We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable

Electrical Engineer

to manage and oversee all electrical systems in our factory. Our facility operates with a high electrical load (approx. ?40 Lakhs/month electricity bill), and therefore requires an expert who can ensure uninterrupted power supply, efficiency, safety, and compliance. The candidate must have hands-on expertise in

Panel Operations, VFDs, Transformers, Motors, PLC Panels, Power Distribution Systems, Packing Machines, Compressors, VCB Operations, APFC Panels, and Energy Management.



This is a critical role to support

continuous manufacturing operations

, minimize downtime, and ensure optimal use of electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:



Operation & Maintenance

Manage and monitor

HT & LT Panels, Transformers, VFDs, PLC Panels, Motors, Generators, and UPS systems.

Operate and maintain

VCB (Vacuum Circuit Breakers)

to ensure safe switching and protection of high-voltage systems. Perform

preventive and predictive maintenance

of all electrical equipment. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical breakdowns in

production machinery, packing machines, compressors, and lab equipment

to minimize downtime. Maintain and repair

APFC Panel capacitors

to ensure power factor correction and efficiency.

Power Management

Monitor power consumption (factory bill ~?40 Lakhs/month) and implement

energy-saving practices.

Ensure optimal load distribution and reduction of power losses. Suggest and execute improvements for reducing electricity costs.

Project Execution & Upgradation

Plan, install, and commission new electrical systems, machinery connections, and

packing machine automation systems.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for upgrades or repairs of panels, compressors, and critical utilities. Prepare feasibility reports for new energy-saving equipment or electrical systems.

Compliance & Safety

Ensure adherence to

electrical safety standards (IE Rules, Factory Act, and BIS codes).

Conduct periodic audits and safety inspections of all electrical installations, including

VCBs, compressors, and lab equipment.

Train operators and staff on electrical safety practices.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain records of all electrical maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on energy consumption, downtime, and preventive maintenance activities. Maintain vendor AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) records for

panels, compressors, and packing machinery.


Key Skills & Competencies:



Strong knowledge of

HT & LT systems, VFDs, Panels, PLCs, Motors, Compressors, and Transformers.

Ability to handle

electrical distribution systems

of high-capacity plants. Expertise in troubleshooting

industrial machinery, packing machines, and lab equipment.

Knowledge of

power factor correction (APFC Panels), load management, and energy optimization.

Understanding of

VCB operations, capacitor maintenance, and electrical protection systems.

Strong understanding of

electrical drawings, PLC, SCADA (basic), and automation systems.

Commitment to

safety standards

and regulatory compliance. Leadership skills to guide technicians and coordinate with contractors.

Qualifications & Experience:



B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

(mandatory). Minimum

5-10 years of experience

in handling large-scale industrial electrical operations. Experience in industries with

high power load (>1 MW)

will be preferred. Certification in

Electrical Safety / Energy Management

is an added advantage. Should have valid

Electrical License

(as per state norms) or capability to obtain one.

Working Hours & Availability:



Regular Working Hours:

9:30 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday).

In case of

emergencies, breakdowns, or plant shutdowns

, the Electrical Engineer must be

available 24/7

and take

full leadership responsibility

to restore operations quickly.
