Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Engineering

Review electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications for HT/LT systems, lighting, power, earthing, and lightning protection.

Ensure compliance with IS codes, NBC, IEC standards, and client requirements.

Prepare load calculations, BOQs, and technical submittals.

2. Project Execution

Plan and supervise electrical installation activities at site.

Coordinate with civil, HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting, and other stakeholders.

Monitor project progress, quality, and productivity.

Resolve technical issues and site-related challenges.

3. Testing & Commissioning

Lead testing and commissioning of transformers, panels, cables, DG sets, UPS, and lighting systems.

Ensure proper documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings.

Coordinate with consultants and authorities for approvals and inspections.

4. Quality & Safety

Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and site safety rules.

Conduct inspections, audits, and quality checks.

Implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformities.

5. Team Management

Guide and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and technicians.

Allocate work, review performance, and provide technical support.

Coordinate subcontractors and vendors.

6. Client & Vendor Coordination

Attend client, consultant, and coordination meetings.

Review vendor drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

Support procurement with technical evaluations and approvals.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience: 8-15 years in MEP electrical works for buildings / infrastructure projects

Certifications (Preferred): Electrical Supervisor License, Safety certifications

Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of MEP electrical systems

Expertise in HT/LT systems, panels, cabling, DG, UPS, and ELV coordination

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project documentation

Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,800.60 - ₹45,000.00 per month
