Candidate Profile


Required Skills As a talented building services engineer, it is expected that you would be able to demonstrate...

• At least 8 to 10 years\' of electrical design experience in an MEP/Building Services consultancy;
• Proven experience as an electrical project leader on Indian design projects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable skills

• Ideally, the candidate will have experience of working on a variety of challenging domestic/overseas projects.
• Experience of AutoCAD, Revit, CSC Fastrak, TEDDS, ROBOT, ETABS and SAFE preferred
• Detailed understanding of Excel (including the use of macros).
• Accreditation from a chartered institute desirable.

Qualification & Requirement

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (BEng) / BSc or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree (MEng) / MSc from premier institutes in India.

Responsibilities and Accountability


About the role... This role will see you technically and creatively challenged on some of the most interesting developments in India and further afield. Team work and a collaborative approach are key to any project at BuroHappold, so your strong communication skills and passion to succeed with others will serve you well. What design work will I be doing?

• Detailed design drawings with a specialisation in electrical design.
• Prepare technical specifications and schedules and design development reports.
• Keep senior design team members informed of important and relevant service/design decisions and the objectives of the BuroHappold and the client are achieved.

Outside of design, what else will I do?

• Manage project finances, monitor scope, and ensure quality
• Plan and organise your workload to ensure that you are meeting clients expectations.
• Attending client, site and external design team meetings.
