Roles & Responsibilities-:

• Responsible for the design and development of new products based on customer input and market trends. \xe2\x80\xa2 Receives project assignments, ascertains desired objectives, clarifies ambiguous specification and establishes design parameters. Designs products for quality, 1: manufacturability, testability, and cost. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate the construction and evaluation of prototype units. Monitors project and consults with support personnel to insure attainment of objectives, approved costs and schedules. Prepares and submit periodic status reports. \xe2\x80\xa2 Writes specifications and documentation for component procurement, product assembly and test instruction. Documents technical conclusions and project closure reports. May originate test instrumentation. \xe2\x80\xa2 The job requires broad experience in developing products that contain mechanical and electromechanical parts, components and devices. 2: \xe2\x80\xa2 Confer with engineers, customers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design, implement, maintain, and improve equipment, components, products, and systems. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate manufacturing, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and customer requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing test standards and specifications. \xe2\x80\xa2 Circuit design using both analog and digital electronics utilizing embedded microprocessors/controllers. \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with embedded processor/controller programming. Ability to generate pseudo-code for direct translation into microcontrollers. 3: \xe2\x80\xa2 Investigate and test vendors\' and competitors\' products. \xe2\x80\xa2 Compile data and write reports regarding existing and potential engineering studies and projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Refine conceptual designs into functional circuits using industry standards and engineering principals of component selection, derating guidelines and stress analysis. \xe2\x80\xa2 Coordinate with marketing, technical services & customers, to conduct alpha test (design validation), and beta test (production validation). 4: \xe2\x80\xa2 Create and publish documentation using CAD software packages for schematics and PCB layout, Gerber files etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare test procedures to be used during manufacturing processes. \xe2\x80\xa2 Work closely with PCBA supplier for review and establishment of in-circuit and functional testing requirements. \xe2\x80\xa2 Support existing products for sustaining engineering activities, root cause failure analysis of field returns, design modifications, engineering change review, and drawing releases.

Skills Required-:

CTQ 1 \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven track record of new product development \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with PCB design \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be able to perform or direct PCB layout and have excellent understanding of PCB design for manufacturability and EMI/EMC compliance. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experienced with switch mode power conversion, high frequency and resonant topologies a plus \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with Class E and C RF power supply design 650KHz, 13.56MHz, and 27MHz \xe2\x80\xa2 Extensive experience with temperature control using IR, RTD, and TC sensor feedback circuitry \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyzing information CTQ 2 \xe2\x80\xa2 Electronic circuit design \xe2\x80\xa2 Debugging of prototypes \xe2\x80\xa2 Failure analysis for production support and for field returns \xe2\x80\xa2 Analog and digital circuit design \xe2\x80\xa2 Control loop theory CTQ 3 \xe2\x80\xa2 Understanding of analog and digital PID loop control \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to perform moderately to highly complex discrete analog designs with good understanding of noise, ac response, and precision DC characteristics \xe2\x80\xa2 Equipment motion control and stabilization \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical publications, professional journals and governmental regulations \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with temperature control, position control, dispensing control \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with and understanding of EMI/EMC, TUV/CE/UL requirements CTQ 4 \xe2\x80\xa2 Sound judgment \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 High level of creativity and inventiveness \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work in both a team and as an individual, under time pressures \xe2\x80\xa2 Interaction/synergies available between electronics, software and mechanics \xe2\x80\xa2 Magnetic materials understanding a plus \xe2\x80\xa2 Motion control development and implementation \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be energetic, independent and selfmotivated. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to travel locally and internationally when required
