About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled

Senior Electrical Designer

to lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale MEP and construction projects. The ideal candidate will bring exceptional technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of industry standards to deliver innovative, efficient, and compliant electrical designs.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of electrical systems, including

power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, grounding, and ELV systems

. Prepare, review, and validate detailed

electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts

using AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), and other design tools. Perform and review

electrical load calculations, voltage drop studies, fault-level calculations

, and energy optimization analyses. Ensure designs adhere to

NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA

, and all relevant electrical codes and standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for effective

MEP integration

and 3D model accuracy. Review and approve shop drawings, contractor submittals, and vendor documentation. Oversee project deliverables, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met. Provide mentorship and guidance to the electrical design team while engaging with clients to address technical requirements.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred).

15+ years

of progressive experience in electrical design for large-scale MEP or construction projects. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

,

Revit (BIM)

, and electrical analysis software. Strong knowledge of

power distribution networks, lighting systems, ELV, renewable integration

, and energy-efficient solutions. Advanced understanding of

international and local electrical codes/standards

(NEC, IEC, IEEE, NFPA). Proven expertise in

electrical load studies, fault analysis, and MEP coordination

. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing abilities. Ability to work independently under pressure and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.
