To lead the design, development, and validation of electrical panel boards and control systems, ensuring compliance with IEC/IS standards and integrating advanced power electronics techniques for industrial and renewable energy applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design of electrical control panels, MCCs, PCCs, and automation systems using AutoCAD Electrical or equivalent tools.
Develop detailed schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings in compliance with IEC/IS standards.
Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and protection coordination using simulation tools.
Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance.
Integrate advanced motor control systems (e.g., VFDs, soft starters) and industrial automation platforms .
Conduct design reviews, risk assessments, and validation testing.
Prepare and maintain BOMs, technical documentation, and design change records.
Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional teams in project execution.
Stay updated with emerging technologies in power electronics, renewable energy, and smart grid systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (M.E./M.Tech preferred) Experience 5+ years in electrical design, preferably in panel board manufacturing or industrial automation Software Proficiency AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, Standards Knowledge IEC 61439, IS 8623, IEEE standards Technical Expertise Power system design, PLC integration Communication Strong documentation and presentation skills; ability to interface with clients and vendors
