Job Summary:



As a Senior Electrical Engineer, will be challenged to be creative and solve practical problems with no standard solution. Your role will involve managing both the design and development of electrical systems, PLC programming, and controls, as well as leading project teams to deliver solutions in accordance with customer specifications. You will be responsible for Leading a small Electrical and Controls Engineering teams in Software Development, Electrical Design Development, Retrofitting Applications, Conceptual designs Development(s), releasing drawings for production, providing input for quoting design work efforts, and supporting the service team.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead & Supervise Engineering Project Teams. Capable of handling & drafting skills in AutoCAD Electrical & E Plan.

PLC Programming

: Design, develop, and test PLC programs for controlling industrial equipment, including vision systems, motion controls, air/hydraulic systems, temperature controllers, servo valves, and safety devices. Serve As a Liaison Among All Stakeholders. Make Assignments to the Electrical project team. Develop & Manage Electrical Project Team(s) Schedule and Timelines. Manage Electrical Project Budgets to Meet Budgetary Constraints. Develop, Evaluate, and Manage Risk Response Plans for Electrical Team. Manage Open Item Lists with Electrical Project Team and With Project Manager(s). Monitor & Follow Project Budget, Schedules, Open Items, Changes, RFQ's Activity, Risks Management Activities, and Report Progress in Weekly Project Summary Reports. Present Reports in Bi-Weekly Project Status Meetings to Project Manager. Manage Electrical Project Close Out Activities. Direct Crews & Workers on Onsite Activities Enforce Department Standards with The Electrical Design Team. Lead internal and customer design reviews, installations, and service calls when needed. Create controls architecture for Industrial Equipment. Develop and Test Programs that control vision systems, motion controls, air/hydraulic operated stations, temperature controllers, servo valves, safety devices, and electrical devices. Ensure the electrical design and software architecture is functional, robust, and cost effective. Research and specify appropriate purchased and preferred components. Create electrical wiring schematics, flow diagrams (PFDs), piping, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), panel layouts, bill of materials, organize release packages, and update schematics. Guide Electricians in wiring and codes. Support software validation requirements. Collaborate with suppliers to find and develop the most functional and economical solutions to design issues. Participated in the Project Execution Plan meeting in developing the controls engineering execution plan. Work under the confines of the project schedule and budget. Problem-solve with Mechanical Builders and Electricians, debug software issues and update all appropriate documentation. Interface with vendors to ensure vendors deliver parts, materials, components, equipment, and services on-time, on-budget, and to technical specifications. Communicate ideas and comprehend information both verbally and in written form. Work closely with Mechanical Engineering and Assembly and exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views. Help guide and mentor level 1 and 2 Controls Engineers with the execution of their projects.

PLC Expertise

: Significant experience in programming PLCs, including but not limited to AB CompactLogix, GuardLogix, and PanelView platforms. Proficiency in FactoryTalk (ME and SE) and other industrial control software. Capable of handling & drafting skills in AutoCAD Electrical & E Plan. Experience in Working with Internal and External Stakeholders. Experience in Creating Schedules & Managing them to completion. Good History of Working Within Budget Constraints. Experience in Allocating Resources to Meet Project Objectives. Lead internal and external Design Reviews. Teach & Enforce Company Standards to Engineering Team. Able To Conceptualize & Create Solutions for Complex Design. Able To Perform Analysis and develop solutions. Able to Develop and Test Programs that control vision systems, motion controls, air/hydraulic operated stations, temperature controllers, servo valves, safety devices, and electrical devices. Experience in developing program applications using AB CompactLogix, Guard Logix, PanelView plus platforms, and FactoryTalk (ME and SE). Experience in creating electrical wiring schematics, flow diagrams, panel layouts, bill of materials, organize release packages, and update schematics. Able to design systems that are compliant with applicable standards (i.e., OSHA, UL, CE, or customer specific). A good record of successfully following project schedules, budgets, and technical specs. Experience in working with venders to ensure delivery and/or services is on time, on-budget, and in accordance with project requirements. Proficient Of Producing Accurate Bills of Materials, Quotes, and Requisitions. Experience in factory network design and implementation. Able to develop, integrate, and implement SCADA process control systems. Good History of Managing Projects and Keeping Timelines. Experience In Working with Customers to Resolve Problems. Able To Work Effectively with Both Internal Cross Function Teams, Venders, and Customers. Able To Give & Take Direction. Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills. Follow Company Standards & Policy. Team Player. Ability to perform drafting work

Education & Experience:



Education

: B.E / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (EEE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Instrumentation Engineering (E&I), or Control Systems Engineering.

Experience

: 10 to 15 years of experience in electrical design, PLC programming, controls engineering, and project management, preferably within industrial automation, manufacturing, or related sectors.

Additional Qualifications

: Relevant certifications in PLC programming, control systems, and project management (e.g., PMP) will be an advantage.

Work Schedule - 6 days a week Location - Chennai Onsite Activity - 75% Jobsite & Occasional Assignments Abroad

Salary:



1L - 2.5 Lakhs/Month

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
