Job Summary

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing electrical systems and drawings for projects in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements. The role involves coordination with cross-functional teams, preparation of technical documents, and support during installation and commissioning.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Engineering

Prepare

electrical layouts, schematics, single line diagrams (SLD)

, wiring diagrams, and control panel drawings. Design

LV/MV power distribution systems

, lighting, grounding, and earthing systems. Perform

load calculations

, cable sizing, short-circuit and protection coordination studies. Develop

BOM, GA drawings, and panel designs

(MCC, PCC, VFD, PLC panels).
Standards & Compliance

Ensure designs comply with

IS, IEC, IEEE, NEC, and local statutory regulations

. Adhere to safety, quality, and project standards. Support statutory approvals and inspections.
Software & Tools

Use

AutoCAD / EPLAN / SolidWorks Electrical / ETAP / Dialux

as applicable. Maintain drawing revisions and document control.
Coordination & Support

Coordinate with

mechanical, automation, civil, and procurement teams

. Provide technical support during

manufacturing, erection, testing, and commissioning

. Attend technical meetings with clients, consultants, and vendors.
Documentation & Reporting

Prepare

technical specifications, datasheets, method statements

, and test procedures. Support project planning, cost estimation, and material selection.

Pay: ?700,000.00 - ?1,200,000.00 per year
