Job Description

GS Global Academy is looking for an experienced

Senior Education Counsellor

to guide students through their study abroad journey. This role involves end-to-end counselling, student conversion, and mentoring junior counsellors while ensuring a smooth application and pre-departure process.

How You'll Support Students

Counsel students and parents on

study opportunities in USA, UK, Australia, and New Zealand

, including courses, universities, scholarships, and career pathways Guide students through the

complete application process

: university applications, SOPs, essays, recommendation letters, and transcripts Support students with

visa processes

for different countries (documentation, forms, interview preparation, and timelines) Track

admission deadlines, intakes, and scholarship opportunities

across partner universities Conduct

pre-departure sessions

covering culture, accommodation, health insurance, and travel guidance Stay connected with students post-departure to support their

initial transition abroad

Use

CRM systems

to manage student cases, follow-ups, and documentation Participate in

education fairs, seminars, webinars, and counselling events

Guide and mentor

junior counsellors / buddy counsellors

when required

What Makes You a Great Fit

2-6 years of experience

in overseas education counselling (USA/UK/AUS/NZ) Strong knowledge of

universities, admission processes, intakes, and scholarships

Hands-on experience with

student visa processes

for at least one or more countries Excellent

communication skills

(spoken and written English) Ability to guide students clearly on

SOPs and essays

Well-organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing

multiple student cases

Experience working with

CRM tools

Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)
