We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic
Senior E-Commerce Manager
to lead and scale our online business across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue, managing large-scale e-commerce operations, and building strong digital growth strategies. This role requires leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of consumer behavior in the online retail space.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Growth
Define and execute the e-commerce strategy across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) and our D2C website.
Develop annual/quarterly sales targets and implement action plans to achieve them.
Identify new growth opportunities including emerging marketplaces, partnerships, and direct-to-consumer initiatives.
Sales & Performance Management
Drive sales growth through effective campaign planning, pricing strategies, promotions, and merchandising.
Continuously monitor KPIs such as GMV, conversion rate, AOV, CAC, and customer retention.
Optimize product visibility and search rankings through SEO and algorithm-based enhancements.
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor a team of e-commerce executives, coordinators, and support staff.
Align cross-functional teams (marketing, design, logistics, customer support) to deliver seamless e-commerce operations.
Conduct regular performance reviews and build training modules for upskilling the team.
Operations & Customer Experience
Oversee order management, fulfillment, returns, and customer service SLAs.
Ensure compliance with marketplace guidelines, tax/legal regulations, and operational efficiency.
Implement best practices for customer experience, packaging, delivery timelines, and post-purchase engagement.
Analytics & Market Intelligence
Leverage data analytics to make data-driven decisions on pricing, inventory planning, and promotions.
Monitor competitor strategies, industry trends, and customer insights to refine the business approach.
Generate detailed monthly and quarterly performance reports for management.
Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or related field.
5-10 years of proven experience
in managing large-scale e-commerce operations.
Deep knowledge of major marketplaces, D2C websites, SEO/SEM, and digital marketing.
Strong expertise in analytics tools (Google Analytics, marketplace dashboards, Excel/BI tools).
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operational challenges.
