Job Description

A Senior E-commerce Executive is responsible for managing, growing, and optimizing a company's online sales channels. This role is more strategic than a junior e-commerce position and often involves leadership, performance tracking, and coordination with multiple teams.

Key Job Responsibilities

1. E-commerce Operations

Manage day-to-day operations of the website and online marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc.) Ensure product listings are accurate, updated, and optimized Monitor inventory, pricing, and order fulfillment

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

Plan and execute strategies to increase online sales and conversion rates Analyze sales data, traffic, and customer behavior Set monthly/quarterly sales targets and ensure achievement

3. Digital Marketing & Promotions

Coordinate with marketing teams for campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing) Plan offers, discounts, and festive sale campaigns Manage paid ads and promotions on marketplaces

4. Product & Catalog Management

Oversee product uploads, descriptions, images, and categorization Ensure SEO-friendly content for better visibility Manage new product launches online

5. Analytics & Reporting

Track KPIs like conversion rate, ROI, CAC, AOV, and customer retention Prepare performance reports and present insights to management Use tools like Google Analytics, marketplace dashboards, or ERP systems

6. Customer Experience

Monitor customer reviews, ratings, and feedback Coordinate with customer support to resolve issues Improve return, refund, and delivery experience

7. Team & Vendor Coordination

Guide and mentor junior e-commerce executives Coordinate with logistics, vendors, designers, and developers Work closely with finance for reconciliation and payouts
