Name of the Position: Senior Draughtsman

Experience:5-7 years

Location: Chakan Phase 2, Pune

Qualification: ITI/Diploma

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Senior Draughtsman to join our

multidisciplinary engineering team. The role involves working on multiple projects,

preparing high-quality technical drawings, and closely coordinating with engineers to

ensure accurate, compliant, and optimized designs. While the position is primarily office-

based, occasional travel may be required to support project needs.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare concept sketches, detailed drawings, and production-ready designs using
CAD systems.

Develop and modify drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. Perform material calculations, weight estimations, and tolerance analysis. Prepare, review, and redraft drawings in coordination with the engineering and
project teams.

Create fabrication drawings, machining drawings, and nesting drawings as per
manufacturing requirements.

Ensure all final drawings comply with applicable standards, codes, and
regulatory requirements.

Apply GD&T, tolerance fits, and dimensional control as per design and
functional needs.

Identify potential design, manufacturing, or assembly issues and proactively
communicate them to the team.

Maintain drawing revisions, documentation control, and version history. Support site, fabrication, and inspection teams by clarifying drawings when
required

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Draughtsman
(Mechanical).

Experience: 5-7 years of proven experience in Computer-Aided Design and
Drafting (CADD) in an engineering/manufacturing environment.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. Sound knowledge of GD&T, tolerance fits, and manufacturing practices. Expertise in:
o Fabrication drawings

o Machining drawings

o Nesting layouts

Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment. Good communication skills and the ability to respond positively to feedback and
design reviews.

High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
