Oracle's global Tax and Treasury Operations team is at a critical juncture to continue to support our Core functions such as Compliance, NIBT, Audit, Planning, Litigation and Treasury in their key projects relating to compliance & reporting function, audit defense, and controversy management and other regulatory inquiries, within the compressed timeline while knowing the bar to shorten these already compressed timelines continues to advance. To fill this requirement, Oracle Tax team is looking to hire a senior-level person with Tax expertise to join the global controversy team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in global taxation, including international tax laws, transfer pricing, and cross-border taxation. He/she must also demonstrate strategic thinking with the ability to align tax strategies with business goals, manage tax risks, and navigate M&A and restructuring. Strong communication skills are essential, as the individual will need to present complex tax matters to senior management and liaise with tax authorities. The ideal candidate will manage internal and external resources to implement tax-saving strategies and ensure timely filing of tax returns. Lead and mentor a professional team. Provide global tax advice to enhance shareholder value and support key decisions. Oversee systems for compiling federal, state, local, and international reports. Represent the company in government and industry associations, and manage international tax laws. Lead research and analysis of tax statutes, including implications for mergers and acquisitions. Direct policy implementation, interact with executives on complex issues, and negotiate key matters. Maintain expertise in evolving tax laws and manage relationships with external advisors. Strong analytical, and leadership skills required. Experience in public accounting or finance/Tax advisory area is a plus. BA/BS in Law/Accounting/Finance preferred; CPA or MS/MBA with strong Tax experience is beneficial.



Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations (e.g., Income Tax, Non-Income Based Tax, Transfer Pricing). Oversee Tax compliance and filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Handle tax audits and manage interactions with tax authorities, addressing queries and ensuring compliance. Lead the preparation of Tax impact on financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Oversee cross-border taxation, including managing withholding taxes, Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAA), and international tax matters. Manage transfer pricing policies and ensure compliance with global regulations and documentation standards. Monitor and assess tax risks, addressing potential disputes or non-compliance issues. Ensure timely and accurate tax reporting and filings, including quarterly tax reporting requirements. Utilize tax software and analytical tools to streamline compliance processes and optimize tax planning. Coordinate with internal teams (finance, legal, business) and external stakeholders (auditors, tax authorities) for tax matters. Prepare and present clear, concise tax and financial reports to senior management. Manage multiple tax compliance deadlines and prioritize tasks to meet regulatory requirements efficiently. Interpret complex tax regulations and provide practical solutions to tax-related issues. * Reporting to Tax top management in Oracle US, lead initiatives to improve tax reporting processes, enhance controls, and ensure compliance across all jurisdictions.
